SHEILA MENTZ
DIRECTOR OF YOUTH EDUCATION - e-mail
 Sheila Mentz is the Director of Youth Education at Har Sinai Congregation. She has been a member of the teaching staff for 40 years and has been director for 9 years. In addition to her position as director, she is a classroom teacher, b'nai mitzvah tutor and organizer of the monthly family services. Mrs. Mentz is also involved in many other Congregational activities.
A recipient of a bachelor's degree and master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Towson University and a bachelor's degree from the Baltimore Hebrew University, Mrs. Mentz is presently enrolled as a candidate for a Masters of Administration degree in Jewish Education at the Baltimore Hebrew University.
Mrs. Mentz brings to Har Sinai Congregation previous experience as a teacher for the Baltimore County School System, Beth Tfiloh camp and a daycare center. In her free time she serves as an officer and board member of several Jewish organizations. She likes to attend the theater and symphony, cook and read. She is married to Mark and has a son, Marshall.
