HaSTY, or Har Sinai Temple Youth, is a vibrant organization run for and by the youth of Har Sinai Congregation. Marissa Greenberg is the advisor for the group, which runs social, educational and religious activities for 8th – 12th grade students throughout the year. HaSTY is joined by two other youth groups, a 3rd - 5th grade group called Tzofim (Scouts) and a middle school group for 6th & 7th grades called Chalutzim (Pioneers). Some favorite activities include movie nights, trips to ski, rock climb, whitewater raft and visits to amusement parks. We also provide opportunities for our kids to join us in performing Tikkun Olam, making the world whole, by doing social action projects. This year we are continuing the special youth service and oneg Shabbat on the third Friday of each month at 8:00.
